Electronic Mail I have a love-hate relationship with e-mail. I like the convenience, but the unwanted advertisements, a.k.a. spam, drive me nuts. In fact, I have gone from one e-mail service to another to avoid it. For example, I used to use a Hotmail account, but stopped because of the 100 plus spam messages a day. This is the one I use now:
chronowerx AT eml DOT cc
Of course, this is not the exact address. I did this to try to foil so-called "spam-bots." As you might expect, take out all the spaces, replace AT and DOT with the appropriate symbols. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but these are the lengths I have been forced to go to to avoid spam.

Instant Messaging I am relatively new to the world of instant messaging, or i.m. What I do not like are all the different services which only allow you to communicate with people who use the same service, unlike telephone or e-mail. Because of this, I use a program calle Trillian (see my links page) and I have an account with most major services. ICQ: 151 433 161 * MSN: EWStanNMS[@hotmail.com] ** AIM: EWStanAIM Y!: EWStanY * I.C.Q. is actually my favorite. I like it's concept: you do not have to come up with a catchy and unique user name. You get a number, kind of like a telephone. You can then choose a nickname to associate with it, and even change it. ** A.k.a. .NET MEssenger Servivce, thus the NMS in the user name. You need to enter an e-mail address to use it, not just a user name. Because of this, I have a Hotmail address for it. I do not use it for e-mail, however, so do not bother sending any there. It is only for i.m.
